Two men attempted to rob a local loan office at gunpoint this morning but failed in their money grabbing scheme, according to Summerville Police officials.
Around 9 a.m., two men entered The Cash Store, Commerce Street, and told the store’s employee they wanted money from the safe. Only one of the men was armed with some kind of handgun.
The clerk told the robbers she didn’t have a safe so the two bandits left, according to Summerville Investigator Josh Brock.
“Anyone recognizing either of these guys in the video please contact me or 9-1-1” Inv. Brock stated.
