A large silver platter stacked high with small cheese sandwiches mysteriously appeared on a roadside in Lyerly Monday and has since attracted a number of spectators wondering where they came from. The sandwiches, believed to be pimento cheese, have Lyerly residents confused due to the deliberate way they were arranged and placed on the white line bordering Oak Hill Road, as if to be left for someone.
